Las Fallas - The Finale

So the Finale finally came Las Fallas came to an end with lots more pyrotechnics, whizz bangs, festivities, fires and dressed up people..... and in many ways we were thankful.  We got no sleep for the week, the noise was interesting and Spanish went bonkers, together with all the tourists.  We are glad we have experienced Las Fallas, but as the locals say, Once is enough.

Gale and Tim were with us for the last night.  We had been invited to the language school to watch the Crema from their window, but we decided not to go, as we would have to go through the centre of town, and didn't know if we would actually make it.

I think the four of us were tired of the crowds and noise by then.  Instead we stayed around the flat, saw a couple of small, local Cremas, ate good food and drank Agua de Valencia and Gale went for it big timewith several Manhattan's.

The Crema - It was quite sad to see the Ninot's go up in flames. Health and Safety eat your heart out.
